St. Albert man arrested, charged in string of thefts

RCMP arrested and charged a 21-year-old St. Albert man Oct. 9 after a recent string of thefts across the city.

Isaiah Hartley was arrested after several residents reported residential break-and-enters, mischief, and theft from vehicles over the last several weeks, St. Albert RCMP said in a statement released Oct. 15.

Hartley has been charged with five counts of break and enter, six counts of mischief, four counts of failure to comply, one count of theft, and three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, the statement said.

Hartley was held for a judicial interim release and remanded into custody. He is set to appear in St. Albert Provincial Court on Oct. 25.
