St. Albert RCMP look for suspect who grabbed, broke egg on resident jogging in Akinsdale

On April 21, at around 10:40 p.m., the resident was on their way home from an evening jog when they were approached by a male on Ash Crescent. The male grabbed the individual and broke an egg on them.

The St. Albert RCMP is on the lookout for a man suspected of grabbing a resident who was out for an evening jog in Akinsdale.

On April 21, at around 10:40 p.m., the resident was on their way home from an evening jog when they were approached by a male on Ash Crescent. The male grabbed the individual and broke an egg on them.

The suspect fled west on Arlington when the resident pulled out their cell phone to call police.

In a media release on April 23, RCMP described the suspect as Caucasian, in his early 20s, with an average build and short brown facial hair. He was approximately five-feet-nine-inches tall, wearing a blue plaid jacket and a ball cap that was possibly grey.

RCMP searched the area with the help of police dogs but were not successful in finding the suspect.

The St. Albert RCMP is asking anyone who may have seen, encountered and/or knows this male to call the local detachment.
