St. Albert reports 11 new COVID cases; 37 more recoveries

On Tuesday, the province announced another 1,021 cases of COVID-19 Alberta-wide, with 14,199 tests run for a positivity rate of 7.2 per cent.

St. Albert saw 11 new COVID-19 cases diagnosed overnight while 37 more people recovered, dropping the active cases in the city down to 365. 

Since the pandemic began, 1,436 cases have been diagnosed in St. Albert. To date, 1,062 people have recovered.

Sturgeon County has 96 active cases of COVID-19 with 386 people having recovered since the beginning of the pandemic. Morinville has 85 active cases with 183 people having recovered.

On Tuesday, the province announced another 1,021 cases of COVID-19 Alberta-wide, with 14,199 tests run for a positivity rate of 7.2 per cent. There are currently 802 people in the hospital and 152 of them in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). 

There are 18,311 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta.

In the past 24 hours, 11 more Albertans passed away from COVID-19, bringing the total deaths since the beginning of the pandemic up to 871 people.
