The St. Albert Community Information & Volunteer Centre has many volunteer opportunities to choose from and can help find the right fit for you, even if you are not sure of what that might be. Be a part of this team that provides a very important service to our community. Assist this local organization with their general cleaning and tidying of the office and kitchen area. Volunteer once or twice a week on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday.

Drivers needed to deliver noon-time meals to clients in their homes. Vehicle and valid driver’s license required. Deliveries are Monday through Friday, for approximately 1 1/2 hours each day. Days flexible to volunteer’s schedule and shifts can be once or twice a month, or more often if desired.

Assist at this gift shop at a local health-care facility. Duties include operating the cash register and VISA machine, providing customer service and assisting people with retail purchases. You should possess good communication skills, and be comfortable with handling money and operating a cash register in a retail setting. Flexible shifts.

Help to promote the appreciation of, and participation in, the performing arts in our community by assisting at the St. Albert Rotary Music Festival, March 31 to April 30. Assist at venues throughout St. Albert to process participant registrations. Shifts are Monday through Friday, mornings, afternoons or evenings, and are flexible.

Assist this organization that provides numerous community health services by helping to make charts, make packages for Healthy Beginnings program, and clean toys used for the speech program. Flexible weekly commitment on Mondays.

Put your loud, clear speaking voice to work in this volunteer position as you call bingo numbers for a small group of seniors in this St. Albert facility. The commitment is every Monday or Friday afternoon for a couple of hours. Come out and have some fun with this group.

Help to cultivate community spirit and volunteer at St. Albert’s winter festival, Feb. 19 and 20. Assist with site activities, information kiosks, face painting, set up and takedown, or be an event greeter. Volunteer as an individual, a couple or as a family. Assistance also needed on the organizing committee as well. Be a part of this fun filled event that inspires community spirit for the young and young at heart.
