The St. Albert Community Information & Volunteer Centre has many volunteer opportunities to choose from and can help find the right fit for you, even if you are not sure of what that might be. Help make St. Albert a more secure and safe place to live every day. Assist with the preparation and packing of food orders and barricades for block parties in our city. You should be able to lift and carry 15 kilograms. Position takes place mid-May until the end of August, during the day on Fridays.

Would you like to get out for four hours a week and be a part of this fun St. Albert community organization? In this position you will join a reception team in an office setting, answering telephones, providing information to clients and doing some computer work. The shift currently available is Monday morning.

Are you cheerful, caring and patient, and do you work well with seniors? Assist the staff nurse to carry out a friendly and efficient service to clients in this Edmonton west end clinic. Help with reception and clerical duties, make follow-up appointments, porter clients to and from treatments within the facility, and assist with client charts. Clinics take place on the first and third Tuesday of the month, and you can take a full day or partial day shift.

Are you available April 19 through 22 to assist with this St. Albert trade show? Various positions available at this family and community event include admissions desk, ambassadors, stage area and concession maintenance, parking attendant, assisting with kids’ activities, entertainment stage, volunteer lounge, fire exits, or setup and take down. Have some fun and meet some new people. Shifts are flexible to fit your schedule.

Be a part of the Relay For Life and help celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and find a cure for the disease. The St. Albert event takes place June 9, but volunteers are currently needed for project work and tasks leading up to the event. Help show St. Albert’s community spirit by lending a hand to this major event.

Be a part of this family-oriented, community-supported event that makes a difference in the lives of Canadians living with MS. This one day event to fundraise for MS will be held at the St. Albert Curling Club on Sunday, April 29. Volunteers are needed to assist at the finish line to cheer walkers as they cross the finish line and give out items to the walkers. Volunteer as an individual, group or as a family.

Assist the executive director at this local non-profit organization, using your computer skills and excellent telephone skills. You will be conducting program research, scheduling appointments and doing various other administrative duties. Shifts are flexible.
