Would you like to get out for four hours a week and be a part of this fun St. Albert community organization? In this position, you will join a reception team in an office setting answering telephones, providing information to clients and doing some computer work. The shifts currently available are Monday mornings, Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings.

Are you available April 8 to 10 to help with this St. Albert trade show? Various positions available at this family and community event include admissions desk, ambassadors for the event, stage area and concession maintenance and manning the volunteer lounge, fire exits and exhibitors’ door. Have some fun and meet some dynamic new people. Shifts are flexible to fit your schedule.

Are you fluent in French and English and have an interest in helping others research their French-Canadian genealogy and family history? Help others use the appropriate resources at this research centre’s library or using online resources. Training provided.

Drivers needed to deliver noontime meals to clients in their homes. Vehicle and valid driver’s licence required. Deliveries are Monday through Friday for approximately one and a half hours each day. Days flexible to volunteer’s schedule. Shifts can be once or twice a month or more often if desired.

The streets of St. Albert are going to get wild during the RunWild Marathon on May 15. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available both on race day as well as pre-race in the days leading up to the marathon. It all happens for a good cause with funds raised going to the Zebra Child Protection Centre, so join in and contribute your part while having lots of fun too.

Caring, dedicated and mature people are needed to provide front line support, information and referrals to victims, families and others affected by crime or tragedy. Help this organization help others in times of crisis. Volunteers will receive extensive training and should have the capability to work with the RCMP as well as have the availability to work evening shifts and be on call for some weekend shifts.

Do you enjoy working with children and youth? Make a difference in a young person’s life and volunteer to be a soccer coach. There are lots of age groups to choose from. Coach four-year-olds where your main role is to coax and encourage the beginners in the game. There are opportunities with other age groups right through to the older teens. The outdoor season runs April through June. Coach courses and training are offered and available, but not mandatory.
