Tips from the public and the work of three separate police agencies led to the arrest of a man in St. Albert Thursday.

Eric Bjorn Hanson, 29, was arrested at a residence in St. Albert without incident for being unlawfully at large.

Police first issued a press release about the man in early March. Officers from the St. Albert RCMP Crime Reduction Unit, the Edmonton Police Service Targeted Offender Section and the Fugitive Apprehension Sheriffs Support Team all worked on locating and arresting Hanson.

Hanson was supposed to be serving a weekend sentence for impaired driving, but police allege he stopped reporting in late January.

Two outstanding

When the RCMP brought Hanson to the public's attention in March, they also identified two other men they were looking for.

Const. Janice Schoepp said Adam David Grykuliak, 24, and Ross Andrew Runyon, 25, also have outstanding warrants and police are eager to either locate them or have them turn themselves in.

Grykuliak is wanted on charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle, refusing to provide a breath sample and drug possession for the purposes of trafficking.

He is also wanted on two charges connected to driving without insurance.

Runyon is wanted for a parole violation and the local RCMP were working with Corrections Canada in an attempt to locate them.

Anyone who sees the two men or has information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or St. Albert RCMP at 780-458-7700.
