St. Albert residents will head to the polls May 5 to elect the next provincial government in an election race that’s become one of the most interesting in recent memory.

St. Albert residents will head to the polls May 5 to elect the next provincial government in an election race that’s become one of the most interesting in recent memory.

For those looking for the most current local news on election night, the St. Albert Gazette’s website, Facebook page and Twitter feeds are the places to get it. We will have reporters around town covering the St. Albert riding’s race and out in Spruce Grove to get results from Spruce Grove-St. Albert.

We will not be publishing results in our May 6 edition because of a press deadline on Tuesday afternoon, but will have complete coverage in our May 9 edition.

For those looking for up-to-date coverage on the rural ridings surrounding St. Albert, our sister newspapers the Westlock News and the Athabasca Advocate will have online coverage of the Barrhead-Morinville-Westlock and Athabasca-Sturgeon-Redwater ridings, respectively.

Full coverage of the race in the rural ridings will be included in our May 13 edition.
