Game times are 8 p.m. tonight against the Lethbridge Hurricanes (7-8-3) and 2:30 p.m. Sunday against the UFA Bisons (10-4-4) at Akinsdale Arena. St. Albert’s home record is 5-1-1.

The Raiders (12-4-2) are 5-2-1 in the last eight games. They have also qualified for the Mac’s tournament in Calgary during the Christmas break.

The first-place team in the north leads the division in goals scored (80) and goals against (45).

Jayden Hart is tied for third in league scoring with 28 points, on 12 goals and 16 assists.

The league’s top goalie is Tanner Kovacs (8-2-2, two shutouts, 1.90 GAA and .925 save percentage).

The metro Edmonton high school basketball season gets under way Monday for St. Albert and Sturgeon teams in the senior men’s and women’s premier and city conferences. Game times are as follows:

St. Albert Skyhawks (2010 premier champions and 3A provincial gold medallists) at Archbishop Jordan Scots, 6:15 p.m.
