The stakes are high at the Continental Cup between Team World and Team North America.

The winning side receives $52,000 – $2,000 for each player, captain and coach. The losing side pockets $26,000 – $1,000 for each player, captain and coach.

In addition, the team winning the final men’s skins game earns $13,000.

The Ryder Cup-style competition brings together 12 of the best curling rinks in the world. Six rinks per team — three men’s and three women’s — go head-to-head in four disciplines.

The series is tied at three wins apiece in the total points format. The first team to collect 201 of the 400 available points is the winner. At the last Continental Cup in 2008, Team World was victorious 208-192 in Camrose.

The following tickets are still available for the Continental Cup.

$165 half-cup mini packs for draws today and Sunday.

$35 for single-draw seats today and Sunday.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.seasonofchampions.ca, or by calling Ticketmaster at 780-451-8000. You can also visit the Ticketmaster box office on the main level at Servus Place.
