The consolation finals for the men’s and women’s Manager’s Cup also start at 6:30 p.m.

Today’s draw times are 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The men’s A semifinals at 11:30 a.m. feature the five-time reigning champion Craig King foursome against Don Johnston and Darrell Skarban plays Warren Sadoway.

Also on the ice at 11:30 a.m. are the women’s A semifinalists. The four-time defending championship rink skipped by Kathy Piper battles Cathy Lane and Jackie Murphy hooks up with Betty Fenton.

The A finals are 4:30 p.m.

The first draw on Sunday is the 4 p.m. B final to declare the second finalist for the men’s and women’s President Cup and the men’s Manager’s Cup. It will also determine the two rinks for the women’s Manager’s Cup.

The line-up of playoff teams includes eight for the men’s President’s Cup and Manager’s Cup, six for the women’s President’s Cup and four for the women’s Manager’s Cup.

The St. Albert Soccer Association hosts the provincial indoor U14 tier I boys’ and tier I and II girls’ championships this weekend at Servus Credit Union Place.

The only St. Albert Impact team at provincials plays its first match today at 10:30 a.m. against SW United in the six-team boys draw.

The girls’ division is made up of six tier I teams and eight tier II teams.

Sunday’s gold-medal matches are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. (tier I girls), 11:30 a.m. (boys) and 12:30 p.m. (tier II girls).

With one month before race day, 182 runners had registered online or by mail for the 26th annual St. Albert 10-miler.

The entry fees for the April 17 competition, hosted by the St. Albert Roadrunners and Triathlon Club, are $45 online through www.eventsonline.ca, $55 mailed in or dropped off at Cranky’s Bike Shop or the Sturgeon Valley Athletic Club (SVAC) and $65 on race day at Grandin mall. Race time is 9:30 a.m.

Forms are available at the Tech Shop, Kinsmen Sports Centre, Cranky’s, SVAC, all race sponsors and the Running Room.

Last year, 330 males and 315 females crossed the finish line.

The winner was Travis McKay of Edmonton at 53 minutes and one second. The fastest female for the second year in a row was Tara Struyk of Edmonton. Her time was 1:03:01.
