More than 1,000 athletes are in St. Albert this weekend to participate in the 2011 Alberta 55 Plus Winter Games.
The games features 13 competitions in activities like hockey, curling, shuffle board, Scrabble, darts and euchre.
The games conclude with closing ceremonies on Sunday.
