Danny Boisvert passed away at the age of 90 on February 13, 2024, peacefully with family by his side. Danny will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 70 years, Juliette Boisvert; children: Robert Boisvert (Denise), Raymond Boisvert (Bonie), Pauline Halwa, Joanne Boisvert (George), Yvonne Chartrand (Wes), Marie-Anne Paiement (Paul), Jeanette Soetaert (Glenn); son-in-law, Kasper Halwa; 23 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Roland Boisvert.
Danny was predeceased by daughter, Simone Halwa; son-in-law, Len Halwa; and sister, Rita Williams.
Danny was born and raised in Legal, Alberta. He married Juliette Lavoie in 1953. Resided in St. Albert and raised eight children; twin boys and six daughters.
Danny was very much involved in his community: Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree, and St. Albert Chamber of Commerce.
Danny was a business owner of Sturgeon D&A on St. Albert Trail. He purchased land on Bellerose Drive and went into partnership with his sons, called Danny and Sons Auto Services, until he retired.
Danny formed a band with his family and friends called, Danny and the Starlights. He was very talented in music, and it was handed down to his children. Danny’s true passion was being surrounded by his family and playing his fiddle, watching the joy on their faces as he played.

Cremation has taken place.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at St. Albert Catholic Church, 7 Vital Ave, St. Albert, AB. Interment will follow in the St. Albert Parish Cemetery.
