It is with sadness the family and friends of Tillie Chichak announce her passing on November 10, 2021 after 95 years of life.
Tillie was predeceased by her husband, Steve and her son, Kenneth, who passed two days after his birth in 1952.
Left to mourn and celebrate her life are her sons, Gary (Julie) and Douglas (Tamara); grandchildren, Kimberley (Shawn), Krista (Darin), Tavania and Taralyn; great-grandchildren, Addalyn, Willow and Maeve and her sister, Lee (Peter).
Tillie will be remembered for many things, not the least of which was her love of her family and her unmatched skill and speed at making perogies for all her family!
Tillie's family extends our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Youville Home (Unit 1) for the loving care given to Tillie during the past five years. Also, our gratitude to Tillie's special friend, Joan, who visited her on a regular basis. We appreciate your kindness.
A Private Funeral mass will be held due to COVID restrictions. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Youville Home St. Albert, 9A St Vital Ave, St. Albert, AB T8N 1K1.
