Rob Christensen, beloved husband of Sandra Christensen (nee Hebert), of Airdrie, AB passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the age of 63 years.
Rob was born in Provost, AB, on September 24, 1958. He spent his first fourteen years living on the family dairy farm until the family moved to St. Albert, AB, in 1972. Rob graduated from NAIT with a diploma in Business.
Rob married Sandi in 1991 in Edmonton, AB. He accomplished much through his life and was particularly proud of his children and who they have become today; he valued and loved family. Rob had a passion for snowmobiling, fishing, and hunting with his close buddies and his two sons Chad and Justin. He also loved to travel with Sandi, and they had many memorable vacations together with daughter, Nicole. One of Rob’s favourite sayings was “If you’re not living on the edge you are taking up too much space.” He will be most remembered for his ability to MacGyver just about anything or remedy any difficult situation.
Besides his loving wife Sandi, Rob is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Nicole, and Ben; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chad and Elena, and Justin and Natalie; seven grandchildren, Jordon, Chantel, Taylor, Aliyah, Keira, and the twins, Rio, and Raiden. Rob is also survived by his mother Joan; and two brothers and one sister-in-law, Mark and Andrew and Jennifer; as well as his four sisters and four brothers-in-law; Sharol and Rod Larson, Debbie and Howard Wilhelm, Michelle and Lyle Jenson and Lori and Don Ryan; well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Rob was predeceased by his father, Wallace.
