With great sadness, we announce Iris’ passing on Sunday, June 25, 2023.
She leaves to mourn her loss, sons: Dwayne (Lorraine) and Jim (Sandy); daughter, Sharon (Richard); granddaughter Katherine (Nick); step grandson Trevor (Yuko);
step great-grandchildren: Hanna and Joshua and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lyle Clark; her parents, Patricia and Cyril Leverton; and her brother Robert.
Iris was born on March 17, 1937, in Edmonton, Alberta. She lived most of her life in Edmonton, with her last 23 years in St. Albert.
Iris had a feisty spirit and was the bond that held the family together. She will be missed by many.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Iris’ life will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 10 a.m. in St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories in memory of Iris.
The family would like to thank the St. Albert Day program staff for giving Iris joy and support for the last five years. Thank you to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Robbins Pavilion medicine unit team, who cared for Iris during her final days.
