1924-2022
On October 10, 2022, Olive passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Wendy (Les), grandsons Corey (Cristin) and Chris (Tanya) and her son Ron (Linda), grandsons Ryan and Shaun (Ashley) and her granddaughters Kristen and Jaime. Also left to mourn are her eight great grandchildren.
Olive was predeceased by her husband, daughter-in-law and oldest son.
Olive was born in Vancouver, BC and met the love of her life in Winnipeg, MB. They were married in 1941. They enjoyed many years as a military family retiring in the Comox Valley and then relocating to St. Albert to be closer to her daughter and family. Olive was very active and made many friends in St. Albert and especially enjoyed her time playing bingo.
Thanks to the staff of Unit #4 at the Youville Home for care and compassion especially her two angels Janet and Michelle.
There will be no service as per Olive's wishes, for those who wish donations can be made to the Youville Home or charity of their choice.
