It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ingrid Lieselotte Godard. She was born on February 9th, 1939 in Hanover, Germany leaving us on the 13th of November, 2020.

Ingrid immigrated to Canada in 1976 with her family after extensive travels to Australia, New Zealand, Malta, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. Ingrid made her final home in St. Albert, Alberta, where she had a career as a real-estate agent and an entrepreneur; she owned and operated King’s Kids Daycare until her retirement. Ingrid was a strong believer in helping anyone who needed a helping hand, she was loving, thoughtful and rarely thought of herself first. She is loved by her family dearly and the legacy she created.

Ingrid is survived by her children Claudia Nielsen (Kevin), Roy Trosin (Isabelle), Anne Tansley (Dave). She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jason (Ckenzie), Christopher (Monique), James (Charlene), Thomas (Sarah), Kaitlyn, Paul-Stanley, Amanda, Marcos, and Anita; along with nine great grandchildren.

Ingrid will be laid to rest at the West Lawn Cemetery at 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, Alberta.
