GRANT, Dorothy Elizabeth (nee Morris)

September 13, 1922 ~ January 28, 2021

It is with heavy hearts the family of Dorothy Elizabeth Grant (nee Morris) announce her passing on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the age of 98 years.

Dorothy was born to Herbert “Bert” and Elizabeth “Grace” Morris on September 13, 1922 near the town of Bon Accord, Alberta. Dorothy will be forever loved and remembered by her son, Gerald (Karen) Grant; step-grandchildren, Cody (Stephanie) Brown and Amanda (George) Oszip; step great grandchildren, Lilianna, Xavier and Chloe; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Doran James Grant; parents, Herbert and Elizabeth (nee Bland) Morris; brothers, John (Marjorie) Morris, Robert (Verna) Morris and George (Gertrude) Morris; sisters, Ellen "Nell" (Robert) Schneider and Elsie (Maurice) Wilson.

The family would like to thank the staff of Aspen Villa in Morinville, Alberta for the excellent care and compassion given to Dorothy during her time with them.

A private family service has taken place. She was laid to rest next to her husband Doran at Holy Cross Cemetery in Edmonton, Alberta.
