Dave passed away on February 22, 2022 after a long battle with dementia. Dave will be lovingly remembered by his wife Louise; children, Carole, Denis (Jennifer), and Nicole (Ian); grandchildren, Jessica, Noah, Evan, Matthew, and Mackenzie, and many treasured family members and friends.
He loved hockey, curling, fishing, and camping with friends and family. He worked with the City of St. Albert for 25 years, retiring in 2002. He was always fond of sitting around a campfire with friends and family, occasionally singing his favourite song.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., at Westlawn Funeral Home, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, Alberta.
The family is sincerely grateful to the staff at the Sturgeon Community Hospital, and Dr. Allan McDonald for his care in Dave’s last days.
