It is with profound sadness but also deep gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of our cherished mother and sister Evelyn.
She will be forever in the hearts of her children: sons Dan (Cathy) and Jim (Lisa); daughter Claudine (Ryan) Bell; five grandchildren: Brett (Naomi), Ashley (Sam), Jessa, Brock, and Cienna; and four great-grandchildren: Willow, Oscar, Olsen, and Penelope. She will also be mourned by her siblings Albert (Shirley) Sabourin, Denise Zadunayski, Madeleine (Louis) Tieulie, Paulette (Dan) Kilfoil, and Lorraine (Claude) Cloutier; sisters-in-law Mary Ann Sabourin, Laurette Sabourin, and Anne Anderson.
She was predeceased by her husband Michael; daughter Christine (Lyle) Sunderland; parents Edmond and Jeanne Sabourin; brothers Louis, Robert, Maurice and Roger; and brother-in-law Victor Zadunayski.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 in the St. Albert Catholic Church, 7 St.Vital Avenue, St. Albert.
