1939 –2022
It is with profound sadness that the family of Sheila Maureen Houle (née Curtis) announce her passing on February 23, 2022 at the age of 82 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Lucien; her children Vincent, Peter, Linda, and Timothy (Lisa); her grandchildren; her sister Eileen (Dan); her extended family members; many dear friends, and all who met her. She will be dearly missed.
She is predeceased by her brothers Terrence and Allan, and by her parents Vincent and Dorothy.
Sheila was a dedicated Life Member of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada. Also, she was a devoted member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites (OCDS).
Sheila was very active in her community, particularly after retiring from her long career in nursing. She volunteered with many local organizations and charities, including the Morinville Historical Society, the Musée Morinville Museum, the Morinville Library Board, and others.
A Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, Alberta.
