Jack Smith

Samuel Jackson ‘Jack’ Smith was born to Fletcher and Ione Smith March 28, 1935. He passed away on June 30, 2019.

Jack was predeceased by his sister, Evelyn (Dave); brother, “Buzz” (Jean) and parents.

Jack is survived by Ruth whom he was married to for 64 years and had four children: Lee (Wilda), Kim, Val (Cheryl) and Clint as well as his one brother, Clark (Doreen) from Edmonton. He also had six grandchildren: Chandra (Brian), Dustin (Jenna), Arianne (Rob), Julie, Candice (Rob) and Lisa; three great-grandchildren: Novella, Dresden and William.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Grandin Room at the St. Albert Inn, 156 St. Albert Trail, St. Albert, AB.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Jack’s name to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta & Northwest Territories, #306, 10430-61 Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T6H 2J3.
