It is with deep sorrow that the family of Wayne Allen Jones of St. Albert announce his
passing on January 30, 2023 at the age of 82 years.
Wayne was a devoted husband to his late wife Carol of 52 years. He loved his
grandchildren. Wayne enjoyed many things throughout his life such as working, sports,
renovating, helping others and a nice cold glass of diet coke. He had a quick-witted sense
of humor even during states of delirium. If you asked Wayne how he was, he would
respond, “If I was any better, I’d be rich”.
Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his son Kevin (Brenda) and his daughter Noelle;
grandchildren: Deandra (Carson), Breanna (Adam) and Lucas; great granddaughter: Rue;
his siblings: Lorayne (Bill – may he rest in peace) Bond, Margaret (Jim) Lawrence, Clara
Jones, Irene (Allan) Logan and David (Terry) Jones as well as numerous relatives and
friends. “We Love You More Than Bacon”
Wayne was predeceased by his wife Carol, his son Warren and his parents Ivor and
Elizabeth.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 10:00 am in St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive.
