1958 - 2023
With deep sorrow we bid farewell to Zane after a courageous battle with cancer.
Zane is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Dawn; mother, Irene Kelly; sister, Donna Stepney; brothers, Laurie (Debbie) and Rob Kelly; as well as extended family and devoted nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his precious daughter, Brittany, and his father, James Kelly.
Zane worked for CN Rail as a Train Brakeman/Conductor for 36 years, retiring in 2013.
Zane loved music and playing his guitar, he enjoyed playing golf, gardening, and riding his motorcycle where he made trips around Canada and participated every year in the Santa’s Anonymous Toy Run.
He knew a lot about car maintenance and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a loving family man, loved animals, and was also known by many as a great friend and neighbour.
At Zane’s request, cremation has taken place, and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
