July 18, 1927 – January 24, 2021
On January 24, 2021, Nola Krysa of St. Albert, formally of Athabasca, passed away at the age of 93, after a brief illness with Covid-19. Nola spent the last year of her life at Youville Home, and the family is deeply grateful for the kind and compassionate care she received from all the staff. A special thank you to NP Rebecca.
Nola leaves to mourn her passing three daughters; Karen (Craig), Karla and Kelva, two grandsons; Todd (Chantel), Shane (Jen), four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by two husbands; Edwin Proctor and Peter Krysa, her parents, six sisters, and five brothers.
At this time no funeral service will take place, but a celebration of life will be held when restrictions allow. In the meantime, she would have appreciated you raising a glass in her memory.
