We are saddened to announce the passing of James Matthew Massner on October 6, 2021 in St. Albert, AB at the age of 82. Jim was born in Calmar, AB on August 16, 1939 to parents Art and May Massner. He moved to the St. Albert area as a young man and met his life partner Romona Massner who survives him. They welcomed three beautiful children—Shayne Massner, James Massner and his baby girl, Shannon Massner.
Jim will be remembered and greatly missed by his wife, two brothers, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to donations be made to Alberta SPCA.
Memorial services will take place on October 14th at 2:00 pm at Elmwood Community Hall located at 16415-83 Avenue, Edmonton, AB. Visitation for family is from 1:00 – 2:00 pm.
