It is with a deep sense of sorrow and loss, our family announces the passing of Dan Montpetit formerly of Legal at the age of 93 years, on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in St. Albert, Alberta.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Bertha; his daughters, Wendy (Paul) Dubois and Cathy (Art) Proulx; son, Kevin (Shirley) Montpetit; seven grandchildren, Neil (Michelle) Dubois, Jacqueline (Craig) Clark, granddaughter-in-law, Colleen (Chris) Rossnagel, David (Amanda) Proulx, Raymond Proulx, Marc (Jolene) Proulx, Léna (Mike) Stenhouse and Patrick Montpetit; 15 great grandchildren, Danica, Daylan, Cainwyn, Ainsley, Imogen, Emry, Nya, Dylan, Nathan, Jayden, Claire, Philip, Keira, Hayden and Grayson; sisters, Elza, Dolores, Rose Marie; sisters-in-law, Karen Montpetit and Ruby Schneider; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Dan was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Bernadette Montpetit; brother, John; sister, Lorraine; grandson, Brian Dubois; and granddaughter-in-law, Kathleen Proulx.
The family would like to thank the staff at Citadel Care Center in St. Albert for the care and compassion they provided to Dan during his time there.
