1949 - 2023
We are saddened to announce the passing of Richard "Rick" Nadeau, who left us on November 29, 2023, at the age of 73.
Born on November 30, 1949, in Edmonton, Rick grew up to embody a spirit of warmth and humour. In 1970, he married his beloved Dianne and together they built a life together in St. Albert while he also enjoyed a 30-year career as an Engineer with Telus (formerly AGT).
Rick had a unique talent for storytelling and never hesitated to help those in need. His love for hockey led him to become an integral part of the St. Albert Minor Hockey community as a coach and volunteer.
Rick was predeceased by his wife, Dianne, and both his parents Norma and Roger. His memory lives on through his children, Tim (Jennifer) and Nicole (Cam) and his adored grandchildren, Mikayla, Grayson, Jayden, and Riley. He also leaves behind brothers, Rob (Norine) and Rol (Kathy), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
An informal Celebration of Life with family and friends will be held on December 19th from 2 to 5 pm at the St. Albert Inn (Grandin Room) #156 St. Albert Trail, St. Albert.
