1947 - 2021
With deep sorrow and much love, we mourn the peaceful passing of Robert Douglas Pearson on August 3, 2021.
His family will miss him always; his loving wife, Nancy; adored children: Jared (Jenni), Brittany (Brandon Olson), Mark (Èmilie Robertson); cherished grandchildren, Emilia Pearson and Oliver Olson; grand pup, Henry, and his brother, John.
Robb was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Ruby Pearson and his sister, Barbara.
Family, friends and community were important to Robb. He enjoyed coaching kids sports, tending community gardens, judging the floats in the Rainmaker parade and watching the vintage cars at Rockin’ August. He took great pleasure in entertaining and being the consummate host, particularly at bonfires in his back garden. Robb loved St. Albert and was grateful for the quality of life he enjoyed here. He joined the RCMP in 1977, retiring in 2007. He returned to the RCMP as a civilian member until 2014. His passion for his career in law enforcement remained throughout his life. Robb loved all animals, always enjoying the company of the family dogs and cats.
With the greatest respect for health care providers and in the best interest of family, friends and community there will be no formal gathering to honour Robb.
Donations in Robb’s memory may be made to ARTS Senior Animal Rescue or the Alzheimer’s Association of Alberta.
