Peacefully and surrounded by her family,  Rhonda Peel of Calahoo, Alberta passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the age of 67 years.

 

Rhonda will be lovingly remembered by her partner, Paul Chartrand; her children, Lisa Iverson (Ben Sweet) and Ryan Peel (Lindsay Yamamoto); her grandchildren: Kennedy Iverson, Jersey Iverson, Sawyer Peel and Abbey Peel; her mother, Mary Quintal and her siblings, Ron “Pug” Quintal and Randy “Sam” Quintal. She will also be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

Rhonda was predeceased by her father, Armand “Blackie” Quintal and her brother, Manny Quintal.

 

The world will be a little less bright without Rhonda’s shining light. Her giving spirit was evident through so many acts of service to her community. Rhonda always wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of, especially in his or her most vulnerable moments. She was a generous benefactor of Mistaya Recovery House for Mental Health and Addiction. Through this over a hundred individuals, their families and loved ones have been helped. 

 

It is with a tremendous amount of gratitude that Paul, Lisa, Ryan and their families thank everyone for the outpouring of support they have received over the past weeks.

 

A Funeral Service for Rhonda was held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, December 15 at the Calahoo Community Hall, #9, 54500 Range Road 275, Sturgeon County, AB with Pastor Gerry Dorn officiating. A private family interment has taken place.
