Mike died peacefully at the age of 83 on October 6 surrounded by his family.
Mike was born in Colorado, graduated from Colorado State University, faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1964, and immigrated to Alberta with his wife, Linda. He had been a small animal surgeon in the Edmonton area.
Mike will be sorely missed by his beloved wife, Linda, of 59 years; four children: Renée (Ken) Pool, John (Corrina), Daniel (Josie), Jeff (Cathryn); eleven grandchildren: Josh, Jonah, Riley, Kayden, Maddie, Rayce, Sarah, Michael, Jillian, Emma and Jessica; and extended family and friends. Mike was pre-deceased by his parents John Francis and Betty; brother Gail; and nephew David.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine Catholic Church on Main Street in Calahoo, AB, on Friday Nov. 4th, at 11:00 a.m.
