1934 - 2020
It is with sadness that his family announces that Calvin (Cal) Putnam passed away on August 17. He will be remembered by his loving family, including wife of 43 years, Ferne; children Robert (Christine), Randall (Sandra), Gordon (Renee), Linda (David) and Carla (Christopher); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Calvin was predeceased by his parents, Dale and Hazel; his brothers, Robert and Lloyd; and his grandson, Bradley. A longtime resident of the Bon Accord, Alberta area, Calvin had a long and storied life. He enjoyed sports and the outdoors, especially hunting.
A private funeral service was held on August 26, 2020. The family thanks everyone for their understanding of the attendance restrictions in place due to COVID-19.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr. Robert Hauptman; the staff of Salvus Rxcellence pharmacy; EMS; Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital’s 1 Patient Unit; AHS Home Care; Sturgeon Community Hospital Units 15 and 18; and CapitalCare Norwood Palliative Unit.
