It is with great sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Gloria Runck of St. Albert, Alberta, on May 20, 2023.
Gloria was born in Vancouver but lived most of her life in Alberta. Gloria went to school in north Edmonton and married the love of her life, Allan Runck. Gloria was pleased and proud to have shared 67 years of marriage with Allan.
Gloria was an avid golfer, excellent artist and supported several charities.
Gloria will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, Bob (Sharon) Gray, Linda (Tom) Cockle, Mathew (Lynda) Wesolowski, Robert (Debbie) Wesolowski and Susan Vold. Gloria will also be missed by their children and their children’s children.
Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Cecile Mann, her sister, Marcia Gray, and her husband, Allan.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Citadel Long-Term Care and Your Good Company for the kindness, care and compassion given to Gloria and her family. Friends are invited, if they wish, to make a donation in Gloria’s name to the Edmonton Humane Society.
A private service and interment was held for Gloria on June 2, 2023.
