July 7, 1952 - July 28, 2021
On July 28, 2021, at the age of 69 years, Jerry Scott, of Legal, AB passed away as the result of an unexpected brain injury. Born July 7, 1952 in Lacombe, AB and married Aug. 1, 1973 in Edmonton, AB, Jerry was a supportive and generous man with a strong love of family and of Jesus, and a penchant for giving nicknames.
Remembering and missing him are his wife, Georgina Scott (née Baier) and his children and grandchildren: Cynthia (Gilles) Wandler, parents of Benoit and Georgia; Lisa (Chris) Harding, parents of Tyler, Isabella, Oliver and Liliana; Devon (Nicole) Scott, parents of Paul; and Amanda Scott.
Jerry was predeceased by his parents and stepparents, Lyle and Marion Scott and Jackie and Bob Chadwick; his brother, Bob Scott; his nephew, Ed Tiekenheinrich; and his brother-in-law, Claus Tiekenheinrich. Jerry leaves behind his siblings, Brian (Cathy) Scott, Delores (Willy) Grueber, Barbara Tiekenheinrich, Janice (Rod) Bland, and David (Jackie) Scott; as well as numerous extended family members
A Celebration of Jerry’s life will be held on August 14, 2021 at 11:00 am at The Father’s House Church (55521 Rge Rd 254, Sturgeon County) near Morinville. His family invites everyone to stay and join them for a luncheon following the service.
Private inurnment at Morinville Community Cemetery to take place before the service.
