WIDYNOWSKI, Aulie

Posted

It is with great sadness that the family of Aulie Widynowski announce her passing on May 6, 2021 at the age of 96.  Aulie was a kind, loving and compassionate lady, who touched the lives of all who met her.

Aulie was born in Rusnow, Poland on January 27, 1925.  She was the first-born child of Alexi and Eva Panasiuk.  Their second child, Walter, was born on January 1, 1929.  In June of 1929, the family immigrated to Canada and settled in the Rich Valley area of Alberta.

Aulie’s family was always of great importance in her life.  Her other passions included decorating Ukrainian Easter Eggs, petite point, dancing and going to the casino.  Her legacy will live on through the stories she shared in her memoirs.

Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her three children: Don (Charlotte), Garry (Debbie) and Joanne; her seven grandchildren Sherri, Jeff, Erin (Shane), Kris (Serena), Leah (Luke), Emily (Aaron) and Megan (Morgan); her eleven great grandchildren Noah, Aliya, Parker, Charlize, Max, Zach, Sophia, Jackson, Kinley, Deacon and Quinn; her brother Walter (Lois) and their children Lynn (Kirk), Bob (deceased) and Dave and their grandchildren Marshall, Dylan, Alexa and Amanda as well as other relatives and friends.

A special thanks to Rebecca, Cynthia, Rhonda and the entire staff at the Youville for providing dignified and compassionate care.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Youville Home or the CNIB.

A Celebration of Life will be held when Covid Restrictions allow us to do so.
