I would like to thank the St. Albert emergency response team that answered my 911 call on Nov. 4. From the first contact with the dispatcher advising of severe chest pain, the level of professionalism was evident. Within minutes three firemen and a paramedic team arrived at my door. Their care and concern was above expectation as they carried out their duties. The responders took the time to care for me as a person, comforting me, answering my questions and assuring me that I would be all right.
A special thanks to the paramedics Christa (EMT-P), Pete (EMT) and Jack (EMT-P) who was able to give me an IV needle without distressing me. We in St. Albert are very lucky to have professionals like this. All of you made a difference that day. Thank you.
