This letter is to all the ignorant drivers (including one school bus driver) on Langley Avenue, the morning of Dec. 7.
The weather was -29 C, with a wind chill temperature of about -37 C. I stood freezing with my four-year-old son, waiting to cross the street as five or six or vehicles and a bus drove by without stopping to let us cross. I finally walked in front of another car, whose driver had no intention of stopping for us, until she had no choice!
When the weather is cold, stop for pedestrians waiting to cross the street, especially if they have small children with them!
