Despite rumours about a potential closure, Solo Liquor at 3507 Tudor Glen will remain open, said store manager Sukhi Buttar.

The store had recently closed for a week. But it is now open and back to regular store hours, said Buttar. The store reopened on Aug. 4

“I have heard many rumours … but they are not true at all,” he said. “We are open.”

Solo Liquor will also open a second location in St. Albert in the coming weeks, he said.

That store will be located at 525 St. Albert Trail, near the GoodLife Fitness and Visions Electronics.

After moving back its original opening date by one week, Fatburger is now set to open on Tuesday, Aug. 19, a company representative told the Gazette.

The 2,450 square foot restaurant will be located at 10 McKenney Ave., near the new Rexall drug store.

Fatburger was first created in 1952. The company prides itself on its fresh lean beef burgers, made from “not frozen” patties, and all-day breakfast until 4 p.m., based on information from its website.

The St. Albert restaurant will also offer a Buffalo’s Express restaurant, serving chicken wings and tenders. For more information go to fatburger.com.
