The highlight will be the lighting of the big spruce tree that stands in front of the St. Albert Community Hall at 6:30 p.m.  The entertainment continues in the downtown area until 9 p.m.

“We have a few new things. This year we will have a vendor roasting nuts, and we will have a theme that relates to the popular Disney movie Frozen,” said Debbie Grant, from the St. Albert Chamber of Commerce.

Grant explained that the number of attendees varies according to the weather, but last year, when temperatures were mild, an estimated eight to 10,000 people came to the evening festival.  Parking will be available in the Grandin mall lot as well as by the Little White School House on Seven Hills.
