I work at a business in St. Albert who are lucky enough to have Chris Joseph and his family as clients. Every time they come in to my work, they are always smiling and they are such a nice family.

For some, Remembrance Day is filled with black and white photos of those who were lost in wars that were fought before most of us were even born. We salute the veterans with moments of silence and the sound of a lonely trumpet playing The Last Post.

As I approached St. Albert Place on one of my frequent trips to the library, I paused to reflect upon the beautiful statue of Lois Hole that graces the plaza. The bronze statue depicts Lois Hole on a bench sitting next to a young girl hugging a book.

Those paying even casual attention know the Alberta government is awash in cash. In fact, the black ink is oozing out of the province’s pores, to the tune of a $13 billion-or-more surplus for 2022-23.

I am a retired librarian and as such naturally biased in favour of libraries, but perhaps also in a position to share some close-up insights about the valuable contributions this library makes to our city every day.

Our grateful and very sincere thanks to all the people who rushed outdoors from their workplaces at a local mall on Wednesday August 17th to assist my husband who had tripped and fallen backward hitting his head on a cement sidewalk.

The Canadian band Sloan wrote the song in 1996 called The Good In Everyone I had my ultimate St.Albert Tim Horton's experience today. Thank you to that person that let me in ahead of you, even though you were 1st in line. Just gracious you were.

Re: Annexation Adds Infrastructure Costs I wish to comment on the article regarding the closing of RR255 due to the deterioration of the bridge located south of TWP 544.

As a community organization we feel that, after two-and-a-half years of disruption, we are turning a corner into our new normal.

Some people will do anything to win. Lying, cheating and stealing are as much a part of their everyday lives as air, food and shelter. These people lack a conscience.
