The Protestant School District wishes to sell their land in Akinsdale, so let them already.
“Because it’s been that way for years” has to be the most passive argument yet. If the residents are opposed to anything going on that land other than a lawnmower, then why don’t they buy it themselves and put an end to their squabbling? If you want it to be your private park then ante up. Then again, they can always move.
I get the feeling that they would even oppose a church on that land.
