Akinsdale residents tired of never-ending saga

To date, this has been a never-ending nightmare for the residents backing onto this land, as well as all property owners in Akinsdale.

To date, this has been a never-ending nightmare for the residents backing onto this land, as well as all property owners in Akinsdale.

Being told they were purchasing homes that would back onto a school was the incentive most needed to buy in that area. Where are their rights in this matter?

This 30-plus year fight with the city and the school board should not be allowed to continue. The people have had enough. If city council and the school board cared even a modicum for residents of Akinsdale, this land would have been appended to the park and the issue closed years ago.

Now, even if Habitat for Humanity, the school board and city council finally decide to lay off, without legal representation to close the matter, who will stop 'REIN' in the next three to five years from coming back to St. Albert and wanting to start the process all over again?
