Interesting that Mr Leflar feels the City must figure out how to target baby boomers to generate revenue for the cemetery. Is he not aware that everyone dies?
City should focus on reducing expenses and wasteful spending instead of looking for more revenue. Examples of irresponsible spending are the geese (buffalo) climbing poles, the fence to protect trains, and the big one is the reliance on new provincial government to perhaps fund a portion of Ray Gibbon Drive with unbudgeted funds. And in the meantime borrowing $25 million when the City has a major shortfall in capital.
Yes, indeed, Mr Leflar: “it’s the boomers you really need to go after.”
