Densification will increase parking problems

Some are surprised people do not move their vehicles out of the way when the plows are coming down their street. This will become an even larger problem as we continue to densify neighbourhoods.

Developers are allowed to add hundreds of “units” to existing neighbourhoods without adding sufficient parking for the drivers who live and visit these units. Would the “unit” owner of a car parked on a side street care? Even if they do care, would they have somewhere else to park?

Fining and towing won’t end the problem. It would just be another extra cost to living in this beautiful city. This problem is our own creation.
