Environment priorities

Seems the only thing on the agenda is the carbon tax of which everybody has to suffer from the additional tax burden.

Seems the only thing on the agenda is the carbon tax of which everybody has to suffer from the additional tax burden. What about the massive pollution that Victoria, Quebec City and Montreal are dumping into the ocean and waterways – billions of litres authorized by the federal Climate Change and Environment Minister Catherine McKenna?

Victoria has been dumping raw sewage into the ocean for years, saying studies show that it disperses in the water. Pollution is pollution no matter how dispersed it is. Why is it nobody jumps on this band wagon and says it's time to clean it up? A sewage plant is buildable, is it not? Why can certain cities pollute our planet and we all will have to pay the price.

I am still waiting for a response from the Environment Minister for seven weeks now. Being just one person, I feel my concerns will never be addressed or replied to, after all who am I – just one lowly taxpayer who has something more than self interest at heart.
