I would like to share the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me.
I was in line at Superstore with my two small children. It was insanely busy and my 11-month-old daughter was getting cranky. The lady in front of me was trying to make her smile when I realized I forgot my wallet in the car. At this time we were at the front of the line and I didn't know what to do. Next thing I know the lady is waving me to come to her self-checkout where she took my items from my arms, scanned them to her bill and paid for them.
I couldn't believe what was happening. She said to me that she didn't want me to have to wait in line again with my kids as they were getting restless. She paid for them all, put them back in my arms and scooted out the door as I was explaining to my three-year-old son how what the lady did for us was so kind.
Thank you so much, lady at Superstore the late morning of June 30. I am eternally grateful for your act of kindness to my kids and I.
