I agree with Fred Trotter’s letter that there are key issues facing St. Albert. The Gazette has a unique position and responsibility to develop a better understanding as to where our representatives stand on these matters.
With special interest to me I would like the following developed:
• New garbage system —who is pro or con and what are their plans?
• Low-income housing.
• Fiscal responsibility — this is probably an apple pie question.
• Park/bike trail/green area plans.
• Public communication.
Hope you will consider having the candidates express their positions and provide us with details as to their positions on matters that concern your readers.
