No-shows affect other people

I can't understand how all of these no-shows can continue to do this sort of thing.

I can't understand how all of these no-shows can continue to do this sort of thing. I can understand if there is a family emergency and you are not thinking clearly, or if a family member has suddenly passed away, but I can't understand not showing up or calling "just because."

I have lived in St Albert for four years now and I still can't get a family doctor. I phone every so often to see if there are any openings available but there are none.

In order to receive medical care I am forced to go to either the hospital, which I don't care to do unless it's an emergency, or to go to the walk-in clinic where you see a different doctor every time.

This makes life rather difficult as they never get to know you and they never ask you for family history at these places.

All of these no-shows should consider themselves extremely lucky that they are able to have a family doctor. I wish I had one.

T. Edwards, St. Albert
