Re: “Rolling out the bin,” (St. Albert Gazette, July 31)
I read this article with great interest as I am all ready conscientious about the amount of waste my family produces.
We currently put one garbage bag out once every two weeks and a recycling bag out about the same amount of times.
I already pay Waste Management to haul away my grass and brush clippings so I am wondering what more the town would like me to do.
They can supply me with three buckets but will they provide me with a place to store this new collection of plastic containers or am I supposed to decorate my yard with these attractive sculptures.
If this is such a cost saving, then why the increase in our utility costs?
